Spacious rooms, nice decor, helpful staff, nice bar and restaurant (breakfast). Great value. Location-wise, it is not really close to anything but it is centrally located to everything. San Francisco is a perimeter city. Nothing happens in the center which is where this property is located but it is equidistant to everything be it Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, Fishermans Wharf or Union Square.
While the premises are nicely renovated the furniture is a little dated. We experienced a rare heat wave during our stay and the air conditioning unit was adequate though not great. Shouldn't be a big concern as I don't think an air conditioner is necessary in SF 95% of the time.

The ambience was great, aswell as the location and breakfast. The shower didn't work well at first but they fixed it the same day.
You can tell that the building is on the older side so the room smelled a little musty. Also the were a few ants in the bathroom so that room might need a renovation.
