The only thing is the hot water wasn't that hot when I ran the bath.

The location is unbeatable, directly opposite the airport terminal, making it my preferred hotel whenever I have an early flight from Birmingham. Check-in is always quick and smooth, the rooms are clean and have everything needed for an overnight stay, and the bed is comfortable. There is also a convenient hotel drop-off point right outside the entrance.

Nothing significant. It is exactly what I need for a convenient overnight stay before a flight.

Hotel was clean and well appointed.

Front desk has no idea how to handle the upgrades they sell you before arrival. We paid for early check in and leave check out, and they did not confirm our early check in until 11am the day we were to arrive, so we couldn't actually show up at the paid time. Then, on check out, despite receiving a confirmation it has gone through, Rosa at the front desk insisted we had no late check out. She then handed me a bill with the late checkout fee added. After some hemming and hawing she finally removed the charge and admitted we did have late checkout after all, which we couldn't use because we had just rushed to pack out the room and missed our post-wedding brunch because Rosa can't read a screen. The location itself is lovely. Do not trust your booking.
