When opened first was a quality hotel - now more resembles a 2-3 star hotel with little class.

Location is fantastic - adjacent to Times Sq and next door to subway

Check-in clerk was very unfriendly. Room was not ready on check-in despite it being past 4pm. The check-in clerk couldn’t care less and when we asked for an idea of when the room might be ready she shrugged her shoulders and said “I’ve no idea”. When asked for a ball-park time as to when we should return, again she just said she had no clue. Very unwelcoming attitude. She should not be on the front desk. “Resort Fee” is a rip off and a farce. Westin is not paying for the upkeep of NYC as a resort, and to be charging for it scandalous. Hotel does not impart an atmosphere of quality or luxury. Lobby is full of people lying on the couches with empty pizza and McDonald’s packing strewn about. More resembles a doss-house.

Location was great. There is a movie theater connected to the hotel which is a bonus.

A memorable experience and would definitely return

Helpful, excellent staff in particular Ernest. Convenient location. Food was very good - breakfasts were a good start for the day. Room was very comfortable.

Perfect location, comfy and amazing staff!

Comfy beds, nice showers (rain shower and hand held shower and tub), good views, fantastic location. Staff was the best! So friendly and welcoming.

There was a mistake when we checked in (towels on the floor, lights on, tv on, so someone hadn’t fully cleaned the room) but the immediately gave us a better room and it was all good.

Great place to stay

Everything, the hotel, was convenient to everything. The check was awesome. The staff was exceptional. The restaurant was relaxing and had a great vibe.

Could have been better

Had two complaints about the room, the shower squirting water all over the bathroom and the second about high level of dust in the bathroom that even the manager was shocked with. First was resolved but no the latter.

AMAZING. Always our GO TO when in NYC. Keep up the good work Westin!

Everything was phenomenal from checkin to checkout. The front desk staff was very nice and professional. The bell men were very helpful. I had to have a few things sent up to my room(toothpaste)and they came very fast and I appreciate that. The room was so comfortable very clean and the views were AMAZING! My husband and I are NEVER disappointed when we stay at Westin! Two thumbs up ALWAYS!

Excellent hotel, near everything. The service provided by the hotel team was excellent.

Location is excellent, near to time square, train station. Front desk staff excellent service. Clean and spacious room. Good restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was good and the staff on the breakfast room were very kind. Bathroom with hot water and clean.

We arrive at 6:00pm, the room was not available. Manager offered other room with 1 king bed and a sleeper sofa for the kids for that night until our room be ready, when we arrive at the offered room we only had a king bed, no sleeper sofa. Next day our room still not available until 3:00pm., we had to move our luggage.

Our stay was comfortable.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was good.

The rooms are dated. The room did not feel clean. The bathroom was very nice. The room had a shared door with another room, we could hear the next room at night. Too loud.

Perfect location, great rooms, friendly staff.

We couldn’t have had better bed. Location is perfect for everything we wanted to do. Super helpful staff. Really enjoyed the experience.

Window coverings could be better. For such a busy light filled area you need block out curtains.

O quarto era confortável, a localização ótima e as pessoas gentis porém poderia ser mais silencioso.

O hotel é lindo e confortável. As pessoas foram muito atenciosas conosco. Além disso, a localização é muito boa!

Ficamos em um quarto que poderia ter a opção de ser conjugado e não sabíamos disso. Nós ficamos em um deles e o outro foi utilizado por outra família (claro que a porta ficava trancada um não tinha acesso ao outro), porém, conseguimos ouvir absolutamente tudo o que acontecia do quarto ao lado. Além disso, em frente ao nosso quarto, tinha um sistema de climatização do hotel que podíamos ouvir de madrugada.

The location and the kindness of all the staff

The bed sheets were dirty when we checked in, there is no fridge but one can be rented. The toilet made loud noise when flushing.

That there were no refrigerators or mini refrigerators in the rooms. My mom had insulin that needed to stay cold so we had to use the ice bucket to keep it as cold as possible

Worst experience ever

They deducted money from my card for valet parking for my whole stay which was 5 nights and I just brought my car the second night and that was just for a night. And they added NY experience which they claimed was mandatory per night and it’s not mentioned on booking. They deducted second time an amount of 350 $ by mistake for someone’s else room! In total they deducted 1300 $ extra, if you ever stay there don’t give them your card details

Disappointed with this old, run down, motel looking hotel. Like a reject Westin.

The staff were lovely & Foundry bar cocktails great!

Everything else fell short and totally disappointing. Rooms are worse than a bad motel, cupboard door missing, paint peeling, old decor, very small, old worn out carpet. Definitely not five star.. more like 3 star if even that. Dreadful looking old rooms. Breakfast not great, limited options and if you ask for anything from breakfast staff they were short and rude.

Just a very ordinary hotel, over priced. A lot of homeless and pot smoking around the entrances

Det lå godt i forhold til mange ting - lige i midten af det hele på Manhatten, men personalet på hotellet levede ikke op til forventninger for et 4 stjernet hotel. Vi kan ikke anbefale det - tværtimod. Vi har været i New York mange gange og det er nok det dårligste hotel vi har boet på - ene og alene pga personalet.

Edgar deres service mand, han skulle hjælpe os med transport til Oulet’et og det viste sig, at han i den grad tog overpris for kørsel derud samt lovede at vi blev hentet igen derude, hvilket ikke var tilfælde. Mine 2 børn og jeg følte os virkelig snydt, hvilket ikke må ske fra hotellets side, at vi bliver utrygge. Det lykkedes os at komme tilbage på hotellet i en Ubber til 1/2 pris - på trods af Edgar havde lavet en god pris, og endda hvor vi betalte kontant (hvor det burde har været billigere).

Great stay and would definitely go back to this hotel

Location is perfect. We arrived at 6.30pm and our room wasn’t ready. So helpful at reception. Offered us a complimentary meal. This was the only down side. Great location, bar and restaurant to chill in at night time.

Room not ready, however it was a twin king size bed room.
