Fine in a pinch but won’t be back

Its proximity to the airport and round the clock shuttle service to SFO.

For the price the hotel felt extremely out dated and lacking in amenities.

Restaurant not good. In the end we have to walk quite a distance for our meals.

Decent place to stay, breakfast is not free.

Close to airport, I would not rely on the shuttle. I saw a lot of people waiting. Just take an Uber. It was close to downtown, which was cute. Just walk across the bridge. The building is a bit dated. I would suggest staying in a room facing east. It has a better view. Stay on a high floor. There is a pleasant walk along the Bay.

Breakfast was not included unless you are a loyalty member. It cost $20. I had to change rooms because the first room was not in a good location. However, I was able to change quickly. The elevators are slow and the printer in the business center doesn't work. If you need to print something, the front desk will help.

Property was fine just needs a lot of updates

Beds were comfy

Front desk agent RUDE, NO customer service whatsoever and was on her phone while checking us in. My 10 year old even commented on how rude she was.

The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were pretty good. The room was clean but smelled of sewer. I stay here at the crown plaza a lot and room 316 is smelly like the bathroom has a sewer smell that stinks up the entire room.

The first time I walked into the room it smelled like sewer and was a sickening smell. The bathroom smelled like the toilet was dirty but I think it was the sewer smell.

We got a good nights sleep and skipped breakfast.

It was convenient to SFO. We use the park and shuttle feature for our trips. We usually don’t spend a night and only did so this time because of a long late flight.

On the website it stated that their bar and restaurant was closed. Inconvenient. When I’m fact it was indeed open.

Very poor

The shuttle driver was very nice and stopped for a customer who was late.

The front desk person was terrible. He was not helpful and had a terrible attitude. It was late and I had been delayed for hours, but could care less.

Location is good

Pool not working, little choice of snacks, smell of old hotel, service without any management or superiors to solve any problem. Fees are counted and say it is a system error. The refund will take place within 7 working days, but who authorized a debit on my card? And there was nothing to be debited.

Location - close to the airport, easy to reach.

Outdated hotel (which is not necessarily bad thing if properly maintained). Hotel is overall in poor state, rooms are noisy with highway traffic and noise coming from elevator shaft. Front desk staff not particularly friendly. Noticed dirty dishes from room service not being taken away for 2 days, sitting on trolley close to elevators (kids used it as a reference point to make turn to get to elevators). Don’t know how this hotel can be part of Crown Plaza chain. Not worth staying, and booking I made was unfortunately based on brand name, haven’t read reviews prior to booking. Stayed in hotel anyway as we arrived too late to look for other place to stay.

It was disappointing, confusing with extremely poor communication.

On March 14 ( my second night) this property lost all electricity, heat and showers. I was not contacted by the hotel but found this out when I arrived back at 10 pm. Staff said they could not help arrange alternative lodging. However they helped me carry my luggage down from the 5th floor and promised to cancel and refund the tensioning two nights as soon as their electricity and computers were back up. I had to return to the airport and start looking for an alternative hotel. it was now midnight. Since that day no messages I have sent about the situation, refund or any explanation have been returned.
