Friendly staff, breakfast was good, great location, but hallway needs some updating and lights.

I liked that it was not in a neighborhood. I also liked that it was by the park and bay.

I didn’t like that the hallway was dark and plain. It was really confusing because there wasn’t much distinction from hall to hall. it was like a maze. I’m also pretty sure someone had been smoking weed because my closet stunk of weed.

A Great Stay

The location to the Oakland Airport is great and the shuttle was very convenient and pleasant. All staff were very nice and offered cookies in the evening as well as shuttle when I mentioned going to return our rental vehicle.

I've known The Marina Inn since 1989. Although it is a very clean and pleasant stay, at least a few more added outlets to plug in electronics would be suggested to bring it up to date with current guest needs.

Disappointing

its clean. i was excited coz the marina was just behind it but it turned out that there were no boats and the water looks like a swamp with a lot of bugs.

I can’t believe they charge for parking! they served continental breakfast but with no meat. My husband needs his meat. the hotel is really old and not worth the money.

wonderful hotel

wonderful stay, clean, pillows were great, coffee maker, fridge, microwave. staff was excellent. Great breakfast and you don't have to check out til 12 walk in the bay. great views

If you're ever in Oakland book this hotel

We actually had to book this last minute because the first hotel that we booked was horrible and the staff was so accommodating and lovely the place was absolutely spotless it was a such a thankful change to the horrible hotel we had just seen the Marina Inn is beautiful I will make this a regular stay for me and my family

There's nothing to not like about this hotel is absolutely wonderful the breakfast is amazing the staff is amazing everything is super clean the shower is roomy the bathroom is nice it's just a great place

Nice stay in a beautiful surrounding

breakfast was extensive, in comparison with other Inn's. Nice breakfast room, cosy pool and poolside with view on the marina and SF Bay. Late afternoon freshmade sorts of cookies. Spacious rooms with refrigerator and balcony

Unfortunately the beautiful marina is abandoned and an unsafe feeling is created in the parking lots of the marina by lots of cars having a narcotic smell...

A good value for the money! Happy aboutit

The room was clean, Good breakfast is included, and it's a good value for the money. El Torito restaurant (less than 5mn walking distance) was a good surprise for us! Give it a try.
