Very close to airport but still quiet and comfortable, seemed somewhat center to most attractions we wanted, max 15 miles

Nearness to the airport.
I had to walk carrying luggage in an unmarked route with no sidewalks. The check-in agent was surly. Even though I am obviously an elder, no help was offered with luggage. There was no shuttle or even walking way-finding from rental car return.
