Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia

The property itself was absolutely beautiful and all of the people who work there are very friendly and helpful.

The adult pool was hot. The main pool, although beautiful, was very crowded.

I loved the landscape, outside decor, the updated all of their pool chairs, cabanas, umbrellas, and hotel room decor has been updated from the last time we stayed here. The entire atmosphere had such quaint, quiet relaxing ambiance!

We first checked in… we were assigned a room in far back of the resort. Which is no problem but I noticed right away several bugs were inside like moths, spiders and a sewer roach with a lot of mosquitoes. So I immediately switched to a different room which was a total night and day experience. My guess is a lot of room in the back don’t get much action so maybe that’s why creepy crawlers got it. Also at night we were at the pool and once the sun went down we noticed we were seated over a manhole cover to the underground sewer, well just never sit over there because a whole bunch of sewer roaches come out at night. Not sure if that can be remedied because it is a drain system.

Gorgeous place, we hated to leave. Great location with an easy drive to the airport, very near fantastic restaurants in Scottsdale and near Camelback mountain. The view is amazing, perfectly kept grounds and friendly staff. We had dinner one night at the resort restaurant and it was very good. Can’t wait to return and stay longer.

Minor inconvenience, but entertainment system in the room wouldn’t sync easily. Took multiple calls to service and it was still unstable. Larger villas could accommodate a better refrigerator and coffee set up. There were lots of huge cabinets in our room with no discernible purpose. Maybe just a design choice that most people wouldn’t even notice.
