Spacious room, comfy beds, good location just off freeway. Laundry room very handy. Staff were helpful and nice.
Freezing cold pool, breakfast not very good, whilst advertised a restaurant it really didn’t look like they were interested in serving food. Only one menu at the bar we had to ask for. Only wine was Sutter wine. Coffee at reception was totalled stewed, not fresh, and hot water lukewarm.

Overall, our stay was okay for one night. We booked two rooms through Booking.com and requested that both rooms be on the same floor. The rooms themselves were spacious and had enough room to feel comfortable. The bathrooms were decent and included a bathtub. The hotel had all the basic amenities we needed for a short overnight stay.
The check-in experience was a little frustrating. We had specifically requested that our two rooms be on the same floor. When we arrived in the evening, the person at the reception took quite a long time trying to figure out the room arrangements, only to tell us at the end that they did not have two rooms available on the same floor. I understand that requests cannot always be guaranteed, but it would have been better to know this sooner rather than waiting for a long time at check-in.
The air conditioning in the room did not work properly, which made the room less comfortable than it should have been. Our windows also faced the parking lot, so there was no particularly nice view.
The biggest disappointment was the “free breakfast.” The selection was very basic, with a few varieties of jam, muffins, pancakes, potatoes, scrambled eggs, basic cereals, coffee, and a few other simple items. It was enough for a basic breakfast, but there was nothing particularly impressive or memorable about it. Since we were only staying for one night, it wasn’t a major issue, but I would not consider it a strong breakfast offering.
One thing that I found particularly unusual was the tipping setup at breakfast. There was a person managing the breakfast area, and after we finished eating, we were given a receipt/bill. Of course, the amount due was $0 because the breakfast was included/free, but the receipt still had an option to leave a tip, similar to what you would see at a restaurant. Personally, this felt unnecessary and a little awkward for a complimentary hotel breakfast.
Overall, the property is fine for a short stay, but there are definitely areas where the hotel could improve, especially with room maintenance, breakfast quality, and the check-in experience.
