The room seemed to be newly renovated and was very clean when we arrived. We checked the corners for bugs to make sure it was safe, and it passed the test! Check-in was easy, and the room was what we paid for. The AC worked great, which was lovely with how hot it was that weekend. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised! This hotel tends to get mixed reviews, but I would say it was definitely worth the price.
A couple of things could have been improved. More towels could have been provided; there were only 2 large towels and a couple of small ones. We did find a small roach in the sink, but we think it crawled in through the pipes, and I can't really fault them for that. We did a thorough check for bugs upon arrival and saw no other evidence of them. Lastly, the noise. Overall, it wasn't much of an issue, but there were a couple of times we could hear guests in other rooms.

Angel went out of his way to accommodate our needs. It was clean, and comfortable

Very Clean
Uncomfortable mattress, lights flickered so we could only use a couple lights, no bathroom fan so the whole room was humid after a shower, bright parking lot light faced directly into second story room, reserved a “garden view” and only had a view of another building on the property, looked to be long term residents (belonging stacked outside door, fully filled cars with garbage bags taped over windows, cars never came or went), online while making reservation asked what my arrival time would be then charged me $50 for “early check in request”, smoke detector uninstalled.
