Climbing up the stairs to the 3rd floor was a little more difficult for us because of our age (76&75), but we managed

Best all around place in town!

This was our first time in Cape May and everything was great! We’d return here without any hesitation. The rooms were modern, clean and comfy while also being in a quaint setting. Very convenient to have the restaurant!! Loved how close the hotel was, walking, to everything.

Shower drains were not that good. Water pooped quickly in the shower and didn’t drain well. But clearly not something that spoiled the experience.

Room, location, and food were all wonderful! Hotel was quiet and cozy.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. Our room was very sweetly decorated and had heated bathroom floors. The location was perfect.

Parking is probably tricky in the busy season, but wasn’t bad this time of year. And next time we would request being on the second floor instead of the third. lots of stairs.

Wonderful. Problems were not surprises. Hotel very upfront re accommodations. Would highly recommend

Staff, cleanliness, location. The food was excellent. Would come again but reserve earlier to get a lower floor.

Stairs difficult for me to climb. I’m 71 and have arthritis. Old house so I know no fault with the hotel. Parking a little tricky but, once again, no fault.

Restaurant/bar area. need shower hooks in bathroom nowhere to hang wet towels and bathrobe. for the amount of money there should be parking. Parking is horrible. What do you do if it’s pouring?

we had a really nice stay, just wish the cost was lower and the beds more comfortable.

the staff was warm, friendly and helpful. the hotel is in a great location and the restaurant in the hotel was fabulous.

the bed was really hard as were the pillows. parking the car so far away from the hotel wasn’t convenient at all. I realize we were there at a prime time but the cost was high, more than we’ve ever spent on a hotel.

Excellent hotel, capable and helpful service. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice, cordial, and helpful staff. The hotel is located just two blocks from the beach. The room was bright and spacious, as well as clean and well-furnished. Comfortable beds. Restaurant located in restaurant is excellent and affordable.

The price was a little high, but I think that's because of proximity to the beach.

Overall, my husband and I had a very nice stay.

The room was beautiful and modern which was nice. The staff was also very friendly.

Parking was a bit annoying since the hotel doesn’t have a designated parking lot. Also, the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

Exceptional

The location was perfectly located to the heart of Cape May. The restaurant/bar/hotel being all together was AMAZING. The breakfast at The Mad Batter were excellent.

Parking was a few blocks away. Wish there was a golf cart shuttle

The food at the Mad Batter was great. Seafood risotto was outstanding. I liked the room.

I came peak season so prices were higher. I also did not book directly through you, but will do so next time. Recommended your hotel to a few others.

Will be back!

The hotel is very quaint and cozy, something I look for in a hotel. The rooms/bathrooms were so clean you could smell the cleaner which I loved and NO CARPET, yahoo!! Finally, a hotel that got rid of carpet! So much cleaner. The food at the Mad Batter was the best and generous portions for a fair price. I liked that we could wait in our room to be called down when a table was ready rather than wait in a long line. I booked with you because you were close to the beach so that was a huge plus but didn't realize all that you offered with a restaurant and bar too! So if bad weather you could go to the bar or restaurant or both and relax in your room or the parlor (which I enjoyed). I also liked that we could ask for things via text and you answered right away. Even when most of my texts were just questions. Very helpful. We will definitely book with you again and give gift certificates to your hotel as well. Great place!!

You need to purchase good king sized pillows for king size beds plus our pillows were awful. The towels were not white white as expected and after one use had an unpleasant odor as if they dried in the dryer without the dryer being turned on. We all know that smell, yuck! Other than that we loved everything else and the staff is so friendly.

Superb

Location was perfect, room was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Staff was very friendly

I wish the attached restaurant, catered to the hotel guests more. We had to wait in line outside for breakfast with everyone else. I don’t want to sound like a prude or want special treatment, but it makes sense to have guests at the hotel be given priority for meals at the restaurant.

Good with a little suggestions

Great location. Room was very nice. Housekeeping did great job. If you're a hotel guest the restaurant gets you in a little quicker than other people. Pillows were great for a hotel

Our room was located over the kitchen for the restaurant. You heard the sounds from the kitchen early in the morning until later in the evening. Our room had a combination a/c & heater which worked well but the shower & bathroom area did not have separate heat. Since it was in the 40's that area was cool especially coming out of the shower. It would be nice if they had bathrobes to use during your stay This might be picky but I've stayed in many hotels etc. Going down the stairs to leave the hotel you go right past the front desk & in the morning it would be a nice gesture to say good morning to your guests as the walk by. No designated parking

Having the restaurant right here was nice , the bartender Mike couldn’t have been more hospitable

The bed was uncomfortable, the parking wasn’t convenient we didn’t realize the breakfast included didn’t know we had to call direct and when I was trying to book it directed me to booking.com and the room was so hot .
