There was a stranger casing my UHaul truck in the parking lot. I asked the front desk help to escort me to my truck which he did.
I booked the night on booking.com for $29, the Sonesta called and said they were overbooked and we're going to cancel my reservation. I happened to be in their parking lot when they called. I went inside and renegotiated my stay
and ended up paying $100 , because they made the mistake of allowing the booking for $29. They were not overbooked. They just didn't want to honor my reservation through booking.com.

The room was comfortable enough, adequate for the 3 of us. I appreciated the number of USB charging ports available. AC worked well. Room darkening curtains a plus.
The room smelled a bit like a locker room. The towels and face cloths were of the lowest quality (rough on face) and the soap was low quality, too. There was fighting (loud noise) outside our window at 4am. When we got off the elevator, there was an employee walking down the hall, spraying "air freshener" as he went. I always prefer authentic cleanliness to scents that try to mask existing odors.
