It was good. The beds were very comfortable. The comforter inside the duvets were dirty or stain.

We did not have breakfast- as all is charged seperately. We ordered room service in the evening which was good but over priced.

Only one pool- no spa- pool was full of small children. The location is awesome. For the price- expected better amenities.

Reception staff excellent!!

Rooms were not completely cleaned , always appeared they must have been in a rush ? Leaving coffee/tea making facilities used rather than re filling sugar etc on 3 times out of 6

Romantic Weekend

Beautiful building, lovely bar and restaurant.

The breakfast was a little less than I was expecting in quality versus price. I would have preferred a more elegant breakfast than a cold buffett. But still tasty, amazing sausage and orange juice.

Got this room for a quick girls night stay and it was perfect!

GREAT location and room was a very good size. The pool was very fun and open late.

Our room didn’t have a bathtub but I think it was just luck of the draw.

Overall good.

There was an incident in the dining area> Slow staff and some type of staff loud argument resulting in our waiter leaving the premise.

At check-in was not made warned that when entering from garage, to come down to lobby in order to get. to room. Never stayed here didn't know about student apartments, etc. Had to call desk to get details. It was worth mentioning.

Friendly staff and great location but underwhelming room.

The location was perfect for our stay in Columbia. The staff at the desk were very friendly. Our call from the room was answered promptly and the issue taken care of.

When we arrived to our room, there was a cleaning cart inside. We called the front desk and within minutes they had someone up to give us the key for a different room. They were very responsive, which we appreciated. The facilities were nice but I don’t think the room was worth the price we paid at all. We decided to try room service and were very disappointed. The food was overpriced and not very good. Unfortunately, there were renovations being done during our stay so it was very loud. That can’t be helped but it would have been nice to know ahead of time and we may have made other arrangements.

Nice hotel , but we won’t be back.

Love easy access to the town of Columbia, restaurants, shopping etc. love having a restaurant in the building

My son goes to USC so we have stayed in this hotel several times in the past two years. We were there for three nights and two of the nights where unbearably loud. I was woken up all hours of the night by people being loud in the hallway, and even heard other people in their rooms. It also sounded like someone was hammering-wasn’t sure if the hotel was under construction? On Saturday We got a notice that the water would be turned off for most of the following afternoon. I never would’ve stayed here if I would’ve known that. I am not sure what the hotel could do about the noise but we don’t seem to have this problem when we stay in other hotels like The Graduate or Aloft.

worst ever

nothing was fixed and was handed the gm card then told he would take care of my problem and no one did even told the front desk and I’m not happy this is not a Marriott I would ever be going back to .Room Hot and toilet never stopped running for the next guest I pray you fix room 7022 told breakfast included not abs we could not believe the carpet needs cleaning closet smelled stale very upset and Rachel the supposedly front desk manager never reached out Franklin was the one who gave me the cards said she would be willing to speak with me ! really wow this is so unlike our Nariotts we have stayed on and we were there for a award ceremony and I can’t believe construction and noise the teams that won for the South Carolina Game cocks great however respect I did not need to see there dirty laundry in front of our floor elevator really? I was told By Franklin not his concern and can’t control what the other guest do that’s just wrong because they should take notes from Greenville Marriott it was immaculate and too not service amazing why are you not ? then found out your not a corporate own Ed Marriott there it is ! the difference your franchised !

This stay was for my birthday and I was very dissatisfied

The location

I woke up the morning of checkout to loud banging and no water. I was not informed at checkin that the hotel was under construction. My lamp by the bed did not work therefore I had to move the nightstand from the wall to use the outlet in the wall. This stay was for my Birthday and I am very disappointed especially with late check out being at 2pm.
