Great location, clean, comfortable, plenty of parking nearby
This is now my third stay at this location and while I do enjoy the visit itself every time, checking in and out has seemed to become a headache every time I visit. I’m not sure if it is something that happens with booking through Booking.com, but for some reason the full amount of my stay is always billed upon checking in, even though I pre pay for my stay months in advance. It is fine if that is company policy, but it has never been disclosed to me and always comes as a surprise to me when checking my bank statement. This is now the 2nd time I have had that “temporary hold” actually charged to my account where I have had to verbally request it be refunded to my account days after checking out. Going through this process at the front desk has caused check in/ out to take up to 20 minutes several times now for me, and it is the only hotel I have ever stayed at where it is done this way instead of a flat $50 or so per night as a security hold. While I do enjoy this location a lot, occurrences like this repeatedly happening are decreasing my likelihood of wanting to stay at this location in the coming years. Any feedback regarding these processes and policies would be much appreciated, and I hope to get some clarification on them so I can continue to look forward to staying at this hotel.

Did not get breakfast, but had an appetizer before seeing a concert at Dominion Energy and the burnt ends were delish!

Good proximity to restaurants and the convention center, beds were comfy and room was clean
The room was very small and I think their queen beds are actually fulls. Our heat was broken and they put us right by the elevator bank so we could hear the elevators moving all night. The lobby restroom was also very dirty, with clogged toilets and ran out of TP. There was also no one at the front desk when we tried to check out.
