Location not far from the beach.
We were next to the mechanical room and there was intermittent noise.

The congenial front desk staff! Even though they seemed to be from a different culture than I am, they took interest in what I had to say, as well as I did. We got along quite well.
What I didn't like was that the motel seemed to be stuck out away from downtown. I knew before going that it was 5 miles from the beach/stores area. Even so, it still seemed safe, as the main highways were right there, not isolated. Just kind of industrial. This of course can't be changed. But I suspect that's why they rates are a bit lower than "off the beach".

The breakfast was really nice and the best part of the stay. The cafeteria worker was very helpful and nice! For that reason alone I would choose this hotel again… BUT…..
When I checked in, I guess because I was in a wheelchair, the guy at front desk must have thought I was incapable of speaking or hearing so he kept telling my niece to tell her this or that, so finally my niece was like, she can hear you! There was a strong odor in the hotel, maybe from the pool.. When I booked the room I requested a bathtub bench/shower chair… didn’t receive one and when I asked for one there weren’t any available… and the curtains in the room was VERY dirty! and it kept blowing out when I kept changing the AC temp….
