Great location, good sized rooms and bed; everything worked

Proprietor is pleasant, facility is 1950's charming, the location is great, the price is about the best in KB, and it has bathtubs(!), a rec room, and a swimming pool (which I used this time for first time). Nice spot to swim and hang at the end of the day in the late afternoon/early evening sun.

A lot of little things don't work, are broken, light fixtures, towel rods, their main sign on the road, etc. The property needs a lot of maintenance, which I hope they decide to do. No A/C, either, at least in my room, but it cools down well and fast enough at night, and that aspect is also kind of 1950's. Feels like a summer night, and they have fans in the window. I like the place a lot, regardless of any of the above, and would stay here again.

The manager was excellent! Very helpful and pleasant. Great location. Comfortable room.

Hotel is outdated and could use some updating and remodeling. Replace the completely worn out door mats for starters. The dollar store has them for super cheap. This would make a good first impression for guests. Bathroom sink never drained properly. There is an inexpensive plastic tool that removes hair from sinks. Get one and use it.
