The afternoon/night shift staff at front desk was welcoming and helpful. Room was very clean, bed and bedding was clean and really comfortable. I’ve never used a more comfortable pillow in a hotel room. I liked that maid service was upon request so that I had privacy and wasn’t disturbed. The AC worked wonderfully and the white noise it provided was enough to drown out the freeway noise. Nice and convenient pool area. Continental breakfast had a decent variety of food (less so if you cannot eat gluten, but they had fruits, yogurt, Cheerios, etc). Plenty of tv channels. Easy parking. Great shower and basic toiletries provided.
Day shift staff was cold/unfriendly. I called the morning of my trip to confirm my reservation and the lady who answered was rude. The morning of my departure, I went to the front desk to ask for toilet paper and the lady was rude, barely looked up from her computer, didn’t make eye contact, and acted like I was bothering her. I also don’t feel they provide enough toilet paper, which is important if you don’t have daily maid service. Just over a roll for two people for a two night stay is not enough. The only other thing that wasn’t great was that the mini fridge in our room was useless because the door wouldn’t seal shut.
