yikes

proximity to airport; water pressure in shower. Staff members were polite and efficient.

the room was filthy; along the wall, the carpet had not been vaccuumed in years; overall the carpet needs replacing because of the ground in dirt. I turned on the heater and 30 years worth of tobacco/old cigarette smell came pouring out. The bed was uncomfortable and lumpy.

Perfect ending to our trip

Restaurant in the hotel was perfect as we had no additional transportation. Food was terrific and servers were excellent.

Good value for a 1 night stay before our early morning flight

comfortable and close to the airport. real glasses and coffee cups in the room. 24 hour shuttle to airport. friendly staff. Piper’s restaurant was good for our evening meal.

Good restaurant with a fantastic Reuben, nice place to stay.

We arrived late and were not able to spend the entire night due to flight problems on the way from LAX. The Inn is being updated and remodeled and will look very nice when finished. This is the closest hotel to Anchorage Airport, Piper's, the restaurant , is quite nice and their Reuben sandwich was the best I have had in a long time.

Exceptional

The Coast is still one of the best, if not the best, value hotels in Anchorage. Their staff, from front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant, are friendly and quick to help out! It is a great choice to overnight in Anchorage. If you haven't eaten at Pipers either you are missing out. Thanks to all that work at the Coast for making it my "go to" when coming to town!

perfect airport stay

The room was huge, the hotel was clean, and it was a perfect stay for the airport. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was stocked with toiletries. The shuttle to the airport was an easy process.

When I arrived to the hotel there were broken down cars, homeless people, drug deal going on in the parking lot, the lobby was dirty. I did not stay as I did not feel safe at this property I ended up paying for a different room at another hotel doubling my expenses for this trip.

we liked the location and the fact that they were in the process of renovating. our room was updated. enjoyed the restaurant.

I would stay there again - just manage your expectations. It's not the Ritz.

Close to the airport (NOT walking distance), shuttle to and from airport, restaurant on site that overlooks Lake Hood and you can watch the seaplanes fly in and out (very cool). Our waitress at the restaurant was Paris, and although she was very busy (only one there) she was smiling, friendly, accommodating.

Needs updating, floors uneven, musty smelling, obviously been around for a while - but I read the reviews prior to booking and it met the expectations I had formulated. It was one night and it was convenient.

old outdated room, upstairs with no elevator, told pick up at gate 6 but don’t tell you on what level.
