Our desk clerk was remarkable and we greatly appreciated her help and attention. We were surprised that the 3rd floor bathroom was down the hall; but we were alone up there so it was fine. The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast staff did not meet our expectation for a lovely and unique and historical B and B. The room was lovely and well appointed but the staff was poorly dressed, hasty, and dismissive. I was not made to feel particularly welcome or appreciated. That aspect could easily be fixed.

The location and updated home made the stay comfortable and plan to stay again.

The location is decent, but we still had to use the car frequently and pay for very expensive parking. The place was reasonably clean overall; however, one of the bathrooms was clogged, and taking a shower caused the water to rise up to our ankles, which was quite unpleasant.
Breakfast had very limited options and was disappointing. On one occasion, we arrived only 5 minutes late and were told by a staff member that we needed to find another place for breakfast. This left us with a very negative impression.
