The coffee was wonderful and the tavern magnificent. I really appreciate how the hotel was preserved, honoring the history and original design.
The only suggestion would be to have a small store to purchase things in addition to the vending machine

I love the vibe of the whole place. The beds were nice and our view was great.
You could see someone maintenance especially the elevator. We avoided one because we didn’t feel great in it

The beds, linens, and pillows were some of the comfiest I have experienced at a hotel. Very beautiful, very historic. Within walking distance of nearly everything which is why I initially booked there. Our room even had a view of the witch museum, and added to the vibes.
Parking can be a little annoying. One of the lots was closed for event parking, so I had to pay to park in the parking garage until later in the day.

Two-thirds of the varied staff behind the desk were not cordial. Few smiles, and there was hardly any interaction. Made me feel unwelcome...more of a nuisance. A couple of the staff were very nice and I appreciated that and thanked them for that. I also had brown stains on both sides of one of my pillows, which was disgusting. I took photos of and showed to staff. Received nothing in return. The room I had was small and by the outdoor exhaust fans. I had to wear earplugs. Could not work in the room and needed earplugs to sleep. The lobby is usually packed with conference people, and that led to a very loud and disruptive environment for myself and perhaps other guests. I have staid at this hotel many times over the last 15 years and more. It has gone downhill. I'm saddened to have to write this review.
