It was in a really good location. Room was quiet beds were good felt clean.

Didn’t talk or see a staff member the entire time. Including check in I did not care for talking to a screen to check in. Half the time the man’s mouth was moving and I heard nothing. A few obvious needs for updating such as our fan in the bathroom was falling away from the wall.

Adequate. I am member of Hilton which was just across the street, but I refused to pay for amount of points they want. Your hotel might not be as fancy but just as adequate and employees welcoming.

The location was great for visiting the nearby Redwoods National/State Parks. Lots of food/grocery and gas options in town before heading more remote. Free breakfast included.

The front desk was a virtual agent on a screen located in another country, much prefer real human at front desk. The hotel room door was difficult to open (seemed like the door closer arm would get stuck), and there was a random hole in the wall opposite of the door closer arm as if it got slammed through at some point. Could tell bathtub finish was coming off and a adhesive may was put on top to cover it. I always check for bed bugs, there were no bed bugs, but the matress did not have a sealed cover and had a few stains on one side of it. Given all these things it just didn't make the stay feel comfortable. You could tell repairs/rennovations were needed and it appeared they were either neglecting them or fixing them the cheap way.
