Worst hotels in Hutchinson

Absolutely nothing! I would never recommend this hotel to ANYBODY!

I placed my booking online and when I arrived I was told I only paid for two people when my confirmation and my receipt both showed I paid for three. The lady was rude and told me I could cancel but I would not get my money back and if I wanted to stay I need the pay more money for my disabled grandfather. The facility's were terribly dirty and the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. I would never recommend this hotel to ANYBODY!

Very surprised

It was exactly what I wanted and at a decent price. It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the management was very nice. Didn't smell bad and the room was clean and well cared for. I used to live in Hutchinson not long ago and I knew about the past issues of the hotel. However, I was very surprised at how much they have cleaned it up and there was none of the sketchy people that lived there before. I will definitely stay again this summer.

Clean and comfortable but needs some upgrades

The bed was comfortable and the room temp was comfortable. Parking was accessible for my room and appreciated

The room was out of date and the shower/ tub had hard water stains, so we did not use the shower

Very good

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice. Room was nicer than when I stayed here years ago when it was under another name.

I don't know how to get around it, the buildings are ancient and in drastic need of updating but the owners have made do with what is. No plugs or outlets for USB or modern devices.

Nasty place would never recommend someone to this place and very rude people running it.

Terrible customer service. The bathtub disnt drain there was a broken crack pipe in the bathroom floor the room was disgusting. Asked for a refund and only got money back for one night when it should of been two nights. Terrible experience will never do business with them again.

uncomfortable

usually have a recliner in our room and wasn’t this time, also no refrigerator like advertised and microwave didn’t work. room had holes in walls and random bolts sticking out of places in the walls

WORST stay. Horrible hotel. it’s ok if you’re just going to use the toilet, the bed and the sink.

it looked okay when you first walk into the room. it looked just like any other somewhat cheap hotel room.

the heaters thermostat was set to 50, we tried setting it to 78 just to try to quickly heat up the room, no luck. the shower wasn’t working, the sinks faucet was leaking heavily. I also got off work at 630am, called the front desk and asked for an hour late check out, the person on the phone said it was okay. Got a phone call at 10:40am. the front desk person rudely reminded me that check out was 11am. I told him that I had OK’d it with another employee that I had a noon check out. again, he rudely said “No! check out is at 11am! ok?!” They weren’t even booked up or busy. Needless to say, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Floors where so dirty the bottom of my feet where black. Time to shampoo carpets.. ceiling coming apart by door.

Affordable

I ended up staying here while my husband was in the hospital for 5 days. Very affordable. Outdated but clean rooms. Bed was comfy, hot shower and clean rooms.

No coffee in rooms.

Great value for the price! Exterior was well-lit (secure), drove right up to room (convenient), and comfy bed & recliner!

Tub & sink wasn't cleaned after previous guest. Easily rectified, but makes one wonder if bedding was changed, etc.

We paid our money and didn't go back. We found a room an open room at the Hampton. We chalked that $100 up to "not getting bed bugs" and never even went in the room, the looks of the outside and parking lot were scary enough

Not a preferred place to stay

This was a very old dilapidated property that hasn't been maintained and it is in an undesirable part of town.

Using a travel app to book our room instead of calling the hotel directly was the wirst thing we did! We paid way, way more than what the hotel would have charged us and way, way more than what this hotel was worth!

Disappointing

No bedbugs. Housekeeping actually did their job during my stay (which has been increasingly rare).

1 light was out. Plug for the microwave didn't work. No USB outlets. Crumbs left on table when I first walked in. Touchy shower controls. No anti-slip matting in the shower. Handhold outside the shower was broken. Shower soap dispenser was empty. Odd smell in the main lobby. Clock was not working. Many things had paint splatters on them including the hangars and the clock. Vending machines were all either out of products or out of order. Odd layout of the facility meant I couldn't see my car from my room.

Disappointing

Good spot close to everything i was 15 min or less from everything I needed and wanted to do.

The train was to close woke me up several times and the rooms were outdated! A little bit dirty in the bathroom!
