I had a wonderful stay at Mason Beach Inn. The suite was beautiful, spacious, extremely clean, and very comfortable. The property itself is charming, relaxing, and well maintained, and it really made for an enjoyable stay in Santa Barbara. I also want to give a very special shoutout to Martha. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and her hospitality genuinely made my stay even better. Employees like Martha are what turn a great hotel stay into a memorable one. Thank you, Martha!
Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again.

Great stay, lovely staff and very clean facilities. Kids loves the fresh cookies at reception.

Location - excellent
staff - very underwhelming, sullen even
need to pay $18 a day for self-parking - ridiculous
pool LOCKED closed until 9am - really unhelpful
coffee but only at reception - LOCKED until far too late (9am?)
room looked out onto ... nothing; no attempt made to create / curate a view
$$$$
