This is a lovely property, close to the main shopping/restaurants of Carmel. Our room was on the 2nd floor in the back of the Inn. Parking was easy, on sight close to our room. Elevators were available if needed. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the breakfast room. Nothing fancy but appreciated. Our room had a fireplace which we used to take the chill off the cool mornings and evenings. We enjoyed the balcony and had a lovely, distant view of the sea and sunset. I would love to stay here again.
The Inn seemed a bit far from the beach, we never walked down to see the coast.

Location, size of room good, breakfast ok, could use better yogurt and croissants and some fresh fruit. Rooms need a good cleaning, and could use a makeover, update.
carpet old and dirty, rooms need to be updated, separate fan in bathroom that doesn't come on when you turn light on

Central location, close to all shops in Carmel...good for 1 night...
Well, it is an inn...if you are there for a night perfect, otherwise book someone else...
