Location was great, walking distance to the central streets and restaurants. A heated pool - we did not use it, but it is a great bonus for a hotel in central Carmel. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.
There was a lot of noise very early in the morning that woke us up - people being loud on the corridor, upstairs it sounded like someone was moving furniture. We stayed only for one night and could not get enough sleep because of the noise.
Limited parking space.

Comfortable bed and darling room. Two part door with upper and lower opening options. Distant Sea View from the 4th floor was lovely. Helpful lead staff. Accommodations with a small fan addressing warmer weather conditions. Little fridge for leftovers. Walking distance to all places. Parking available at no charge. Cute theme throughout.
Too many stairs and no elevator. No screens on the windows and many moths coming into the room if your windows are open for ventilation. Breakfast was basic. Not enough wall plug ins for electronics.

Great spot for a stay in Carmel. Comfy and well-appointed rooms, great location a short walk from the main street, a nice heated pool open from 9am for a dip. Lovely views down to the sea from the rooms we had
We hoped for more from the breakfast - there was a selection of individually wrapped pastries, fruit, yoghurt, coffee and OJ that you had to take out with you or eat on the couch in the tiny reception area. Accessibility wasn't good for upper floors - it's an old building with lots of stairs and no elevators.

Good location/walking distance to downtown
Bed skirt was dirty, mirror not fully cleaned, shower head is short and sink was very short as well which was hard for a tall person (my husband who is 6”2)
