Great value for the price

Perfect location, friendly staff and comfortable bed! Really great value overall and would stay again.

The interior is definitely dated and could use some updating but we weren’t traveling to Carmel to sit in a hotel room.. really can’t beat the price for the location and comfort.

$300 room rate was excessive for the quality of the room

located in central Carmel within walking distance of restaurants and other attractions

Room had old furnishings and the bathroom shower was tiny and had black mold grout lines

Only there for afternoon and over night. Everything met our expectations.

Extremely convenient location in the middle of town. Easy walk to everything. Room was clean and tidy. We did not have breakfast there. We ate breakfast down the street.

Great location, clean rooms - vastly overpriced for a very small room with little to no facilities.

Great location with parking available.

Rooms are very small and the walls are very thin. You can hear most of whats going on in adjoining rooms.

Quick Random Trip

It’s convenient to town and I only needed it for one night so it served its purpose and I wouldn’t stay here again.

it’s just a room with a 13” TV screen at the edge of the room. It’s a below average room but kept very clean.

Gross location and looking forward to renovation of rooms in 2022.

Carmel Lodging is just off Ocean Ave and a great location. Staff was personable and excellent in accommodating my needs for an ADA room and location.

Carmel Lodge needs room updating which they will be doing starting in August and closed for 6 to 8 months to make major upgrades and changes. I would stay there again after the upgrades.

It was an economical stay for the city of Carmel and excellent location!

Location was excellent! Walking distance from all restaurants in town. Short run to the beach. Hike back uphill to hotel from beach.

For the price, I think they could do some upgrades on the bathroom such as shower head and betting draining of water from the tub.

I wish I could have given this Hotel a better review despite it's flaws

Location of this hotel was great.

My one complaint was the disgusting carpet. It was so dirty and felt squishy. The water in the toilet kept over flowing and we had to turn it off from the backside every time we used it. You could not open the window to the restroom because it did not have a screen and opened up directly on to a roof top. Fortunately we did not have to spend much time in the room and loved walking around Carmel.
