Breakfast better than expected and available at 6AM which was a plus for us.

Good sized room, plus everything you would expect from a motel. Only 5 mins walk to the supermarket behind the motel.
But the bonus was the lovely garden space outside with chairs tables and even communal BBQs to use. Really lovely to have a safe calm space to use especially after children have gone to sleep.
Not that much going on in the town but we were only there 1 night having driven from Canada, on our way elsewhere so that was fine.

To discover the pool had been done away.
