La Quinta by Wyndham Thousand Oaks-Newbury Park

POSITIVES: The guest room sizes are nice enough to fit two people with luggage comfortably. The beds were comfortable to sleep in and the room temperature was easy to moderate with the wall thermostat.

NEGATIVES: Our stay was extended for three weeks and the entire time, the coffee machines, juice machines, and ice machines did not work. There were "OUT OF ORDER" signs posted everywhere, which was a disappointment. Also, the guest room door was not secure. It would close but the bolt lock did not work, leaving us with a sense of less security for our personal belongings when we were not inside of the room. Finally we expected this to be a hotel (indoor lobby and access to rooms), but it is a renovated motel (outdoor access to rooms only) with LaQuinta on the front. Oh, make sure if you are a Wyndham Rewards Member to contact corporate and upload your receipts for the stay to your profile, otherwise, the management and staff will deny your stay and refuse to award you points for your paid stay at this hotel/motel.

Good location.

Fruit flies in the room. Uncomfortable pillows.
