We liked the location and the bed was very comfortable. Also the room we had was spacious and quiet when you closed the windows.
The conditioner in our shower didn’t work and there was no tissue/Kleenex provided.

The suite was clean, but there was only sitting room for 2 people so we had to bring in our camping chairs for our family of 4 to sit in the living room area. That should probably be communicated. There are two queen beds so it can definitely sleep 4! And there was room for a fold out mattress we brought. We liked the spaciousness of the sleeping area. However, we kept hitting our heads since the ceiling was angled. So this room won't work for tall people. They provided very basic amenities, but they didn't have drinking water or ice on site which I was surprised by. The staff were very nice and helpful. When our shower head wasn't working, they quickly replaced it which we really appreciated. They also provided light housekeeping since we stayed 3 nights. Location is more on the eastside of Santa Cruz so Capitola is easier to get to, but it's nice being close to the beach. Overall, it worked, but there could be more upfront communication about the suite's set-up (limited seating, low angled ceiling, no drinking water) for us to be better prepared.
