The newly refurbished room and easy in and out in proximity to Fort Jackson. The staff were excellent!
The carpets in the hallway smelled musty and they are hard to push wheelchairs on. That was the only outdated part of the hotel.

This seems to be an older La Quinta that has been updated. Our room was very nicely done. The room and the bathroom were very clean.
The ice machine on our floor was out of ice so we had to go down a floor to get some ice. Not a huge deal. Just inconvenient.

Clean, comfortable, large rooms, great bathrooms and amenities
Parking lot wasn't the best

The breakfast was decent and well maintained.
The room door was very hard to open as well as the bathroom door. The rooms were very clean. I didn't like that some of the guest were openly smoking marijuana in the parking lot and obviously smoking it in rooms because the third floor smelled like marijuana most of the weekend.
