The room was clean and comfortable enough for an overnight stay, and our interaction with the staff was pleasant. It had the basic amenities we needed and worked well as a convenient overnight stop on our drive south.
The biggest issue was value for money. We paid roughly $300–$350 for a very basic hotel experience, presumably because of a major event in the area, and at that price the property felt significantly overpriced.
Breakfast was especially disappointing and was one of the most limited hotel breakfasts we have encountered, with only the absolute basics. The overall facilities were also very minimal; even something as simple as having only one luggage cart reinforced the impression that this was a budget-level property charging a much higher rate.
