Have stayed here before on my way up to San Francisco. In fact, had the same room again. Can be rather noisy due to the freeway, nice and comfortable.

Very clean hotel with great front desk customer service. The only downfall is staying on the first floor is super noisy. Was unable to sleep in to get rest. Other than that, it was good!

Terrible stay. I meant to book the Best Western just down the street from this one where our family had a wonderful stay several years ago. This is an old run down hotel that needs work. Staff was friendly but not very helpful. Our room didn't get cleaned the entire 3 day stay (i.e. fresh towels, more TP,...we grabbed some off the housekeeping cart in the hall for ourselves). No handsoap in the room when we arrived. The room and hotel had a slight cigarette smoke smell to it. They must have a problem with it because they had a lot of non smoking signage. The elevator was super sketchy and the inspection paper showed that it expired two years ago. The elevator was bumpy at best and tried to start moving while the door was still open on one ride. The beds are terrible and need replacement. The mini fridge had some mold growing in the back of it. The microwave didn't work. Didn't try out the small TV. The pool was locked and we had to get someone to open it. I'll add some pictures later if I can. The add photos feature isn't working on the hotels.com app right now.

My only complaint is I booked a room online with a king bed. When I arrived at property to check in I was asked how many occupants ( I’m pretty sure I put in online) I told them 2 adults and a toddler 2year old. I was than charged a $30 extra person charge for a 2 year old. I’m never stayed at a hotel and been charged for a child especially if sleeping in the same bed. I was given 2 beds but did not need two beds because my daughter sleeps with us. So the extra bed that I was probably charged for was not even used because she slept with us on a tiny double size bed

It was great for what we needed - a one night stay for our way home from a long drive. I didn't like cable news playing in the breakfast room. Perhaps some soothing scenes and music from Youtube would be nice as a way to enjoy what was a good breakfast otherwise.

It's a basic hotel which does the job for a quick stay near Monterey. Breakfast was essential and the staff started packing it at 10am on the dot. We didn't really bothered about checking Salinas but it didn't seem to offer much. It's just a reasonably convenient base near the coast to save a bit of money compared to the pricey Monterey.

The hotel is in a safe and convenient location. Front desk workers were extremely friendly and offered complimentary waters. The free breakfast consisted of waffles, eggs, sausages, bagels, toast, cereal etc. if you want a quick bite, you walk out the hotel and straight into the McDonald’s entrance. Next door to the McDonalds is In N Out. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late, driving from OC. David at the front desk was very friendly and quick to check us in. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. Kids got very excited when they saw McDonalds right next to our hotel. So we know what we are having tomorrow morning for breakfast (even though we get complimentary breakfast at the hotel).

Hotel is located in a accessible location to the freeway with an In and Out Burger within walking distance. The hotel had a pleasant staff however there were several features that were "out of order" at the time of my visit but overall the facility is a good value.

I had a standard king room that was a 2 room suite. It was a huge room and despite being next to the elevator, I didn’t hear any noise at night other than from the parking area. Super clean and everything worked great. WiFi was good. Decent breakfast. I think the only thing approaching a negative was that part of the parking lot was closed and the door nearest my car was sealed off with tape. Maybe exterior work on the building? Great place to stay but a bit expensive. I tried to add a night to my 4 night stay and it would have been $299 for that one night.

I attempted to apply my BeastWestern membership to the hotel for credit and were told that since payment went through Expedia they could not credit my account. That same day the charge for the reservation went through as Best Western and not Expedia. It makes no since that they collect fees for the reservation but won’t credit my loyalty membership

The man at the front desk when i checked in was incredably rude. He never smiled and was unfriendly and hostile. I won't go back. It a shame because the hotel was great, clean and just what we were looking for.

Easy to book, conveniently located, clean and I thought there would be a lot of noise between the freeway , McDonald’s and In-n-Out but I was surprised I didn’t hear anything but the freeway. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
