Nice location, easy access from I 70.
The shower curtain was sour smelling, and there were flies in the room.

We've stayed here twice, and the first time was wonderful. 10/10. Both times the beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean and spacious. It's why we decided to stay here again this trip.
The smell. I know this isn't the hotel's fault since it's coming from the Oakley livestock, but some plugin air fresheners for the rooms would really help. On our first stay in April 2024, we noticed the manure smell as we arrived in Oakley, but the hotel and our room smelled fine. This time the hallways and other common areas smelled fine, but as soon as we walked in our room, we noticed the manure smell again (though admittedly much less intense than it was outside). We hadn't had any issue with our room during the first stay, so maybe it was just worse at this time of year or we were on a different side of the hotel. I'm not sure.
It was 10pm, and we really couldn't change rooms or hotels, so I asked for air freshener at the front desk. It was a bit of a scramble for them to find it for me, but thankfully they did get one for me out of the bathroom. This helped significantly! We were all able to get a good sleep, but I had to keep spraying it every 10 minutes or so whenever I was awake. A plug in to dispense it regularly would have been much more useful. Hopefully it's not that intense at all times of the year, but having plenty of plug-ins on hand for whenever it does get that bad would be helpful. My husband struggled a bit with breathing whenever the aerosol was sprayed, but he does fine with plug ins.
