Breakfast was okay

This hotel was a bit of a surprise to us as when we pulled in there was only one car besides ours, it is so close to the highway yet so far and it looked like it was right out of a movie. We were greeted by very friendly staff. While a bit dated and 'odd' it was spotless and had no 'cheap hotel' odors. Our room while dated was large with vaulted ceilings it was clean and comfortable. There was a refrigerator but no microwave or coffee maker. The bathroom is also dated but cleaned and everything worked. You can't beat this place for the price.
No coffee maker in room, however, there is coffee at no cost available in the breakfast room ( with powdered milk) all day and night. There is no pool but there is a volleyball and sports area.
I would add that we went to sleep early and when we woke up there were lots of cars there.

Close to major highways
The guy at the counter could’ve been friendlier, I don’t know if it was personal against me or what, but the person in front of me had a complaint to which he responded to that customer “sorry about that” and then when I told him my complaint about the TV not offering digital service I just kind of got a look as he wrote something down and never got a “sorry about that “ or nothing…
