Great location - 3 blocks from beach. Charming decor. Free parking. Nice fridge in room
The bathroom had a very strange odor (maybe a septic tank). Very stingy on the towels. Property stairs and dirt-slanted parking lot were hard to maneuver with luggage. This property is 100 years old so if you don’t like that sort of historic charm and challenges that come with older property, I would not recommend.

Our room, while a little vertically challenging due to it location, was very nicely appointed and charming.
The listing on Booking.com made it sound like on site parking was provided. Actually I believe the Inn only had about 6 on site spaces that they controlled. The rest was on street on first come, first served basis. This can can be very challenging in a place like Carmel during the Summer.

We loved the little cottage we stayed in. It was bright, roomy, clean and so comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. An easy walk to dining and shopping and the ocean.

Its location is good, near restaurants and shops.
It’s really just a place to stay the night. Not much offering beyond a bed and bathroom. The bed was incredibly soft and springy, and the place is kind of tired.
