We loved the location of the Coachman Inn, close to restaurants, shops, and a short walk to the beach. We also loved the delicious breakfast, plentiful food and wine at happy hour, and the delicious cookies! Little amenities like a fridge full of complimentary drinks and a water machine were wonderful touches. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and really took care of their guests.
We loved everything!

It’s super cute and quaint.
Windows that didn’t open. It got a little muggy during the night.

Lovely room, and facilities, decent breakfast
Not enough parking spaces, and I got a parking fine on one of the nights I had to park on the street. Our room was in a corner on the ground floor with a wall outside our window.

Location is good. It was right in the middle of Carmel and we could easily walk everywhere. The rooms were well appointed.
We were initially put in the ground floor room. It was not pleasant at all. I don’t know what was happening in that room, but my husband and I both woke up and were so stuffy and could not breathe. Thankfully, we asked that they placed us in our room on the second level and they accommodated us. We were thankful for that. The parking is terrible. Very, very difficult to get in and out of the spaces. We were told that if there were no spaces, you just had to go on the street and park. We did find a space, but it was under a dryer vent and our car was covered in lint. There’s no air-conditioning in the units. They do give you a fan, but it really did not work very well. I’m still working on it. Happy hour appeal to us. However the wine was just low quality wine. There was some food. It was nice to nibble on. The spa also appeal to us however it was only open from like 9 AM until 9 PM. So unless you decided if we go dinner or come back early, that was not accessible either. I will also say the walls are so thin. We could literally hear the women in the room beside us word for words. While the location was good and it was well appointed it was really overpriced.
