8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026

Beautiful house. Staff super friendly and kind. Afternoon cookies were a sweet touch. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great location and warm feeling in the house - like staying at your grandma's which i loved. Breakfasts were huge and impressive.

We had Annie's room which is the cheapest of the rooms so we didn't mind it being small. The one annoying thing is that any noise from the room above travels down. We heard full conversations, every footstep and this affected our sleep. The bathroom also seems a little musty and damp as there is no window and the fan isn't strong.

Breakfast was awesome Staff (Diane) was wonderful Central location (walking access to most places of interest in Mendocino)

There was no "ocean view" as advertised Fireplace was hard to start

Very nice location.

Nice house. Very good breakfast.

Good location

Overpriced for the accommodation. Bed was saggy, room had minimal heat (wouldn't recommend a winter stay), breakfast was not great but okay. Owner was nice enough, but again, for over $400 I can't recommend it.
