I missed hotels that are going above and beyond in everything: very large bedrooms, gigantic bathrooms, amazing rooftop pool, complementary breakfast, impeccable service… my absolute best kind of hotel

Breakfast was good, but was the same thing every day. It also could’ve used more variety. The main things were just potato and frittata.
The rooms look very old and dilapidated. They could use some renovating. Also, when I came into my room, the couch cushion was missing a cover so all you saw was foam, and the balcony door would not lock. When I told the front desk about this they did send someone up right away to fix these issues, but still. Not what you would expect to find upon entering your room on the first day at a five star hotel. They also didn’t have slippers or robes that most hotels of this caliber just give you.

Complimentary breakfast is an excellent inclusion
West Hollywood can be a noisy area and there’s nothing the hotel can do about that but be prepared to hear sirens etc.
