The property was beautiful, well maintained, clean, the staff were friendly, helpful. S’mores and popcorn at night were an extra bonus.

Location ideal for 2 days at Rocky Mountain NP and visit to Estes Park.
Spacious room in B building. Well equipped kitchen area, two tables. Large hot tub! Covered parking.
Exceptional kindness from the night manager, Amber, who arranged for our room upgrade.
Welcoming and helpful staff. Good variety of tasty breakfast options.
Appenzell Inn office was hard to find in the dark since it’s located at the sister property, Estes Mountain Inn.

Everything was charming and cozy. The room was clean and comfortable and I appreciated room service everyday for taking the trash out and replenishing the soap as needed. Also really appreciated the waffle machine for breakfast!
Parking is really difficult, especially if you have a larger vehicle. I was in town for a livestock show, so I had my large truck which I need to haul my trailer for my animals. I was able to keep my trailer at the fairgrounds, so I only had my truck to deal with, but the parking spaces are so small and tight, I worried that I wouldn't be able to find parking each evening, and elected not to leave once I was back, even though there were times when I kinda needed to. I just did without since I didn't know if i'd be able to park when I got back. For breakfast, it would have been nice to have a few more offerings like pastries or oatmeal packets.
