We always like the location, right at the base of the mountain. It's a perfect place to stop for the night, when we leave for Disneyland from Chico after work. The grounds and view are pretty nice, IF you get a room facing the pool.
The staff has never been overly friendly here. I don't need them to throw me a welcome party, but they've always been pretty gruff and dismissive. If you don't get a room facing the pool, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between your area of the motel and any other motel along I-5. And they shouldn't be allowed to advertise "breakfast" when your only options are a muffin, a piece of fruit, or a microwavable breakfast sandwich. Come on.

The comfort of the room and the bed
I had to tranfer the room a couple of times. First the door is not opening. The key works but the door won’t open. The second room the TV has no signal. So we transferred to another room. The shower it has the loud sound when ur taking a shower.
