Claudia, the host, made all the difference. She was warm, kind, and happy to share information about the property and the sister property. The staff at the sister property, whose facilities were also available, were also very kind and unpretentious.

The structures are beautiful and the gardens are delightful. Our room was very spacious and pleasant. It was very convenient to have access to a washer and dryer.
The portable air-conditioning units are too loud to sleep, the fans blew too strong or were too loud. We found it difficult to get the temperature in our room comfortable. The breakfast that was included was not very substantial and the portions felt “rationed“.

The hotel is New Mexico rustic chic. It’s not like a big city five star hotel, but if you want an authentic experience this is the place. Great location. Quiet, yet minutes from the town square and galleries. But you need a car to go to these places due to the narrow roads with no sidewalks.

It is convenient and accessible.
There was no one available to check us in. When we called the phone number that was listed the other location did not know what we were talking about. It took a minute for us to actually locate somebody to check us in. The room was OK but outdated. They had to add an AC unit that is piped through the window which made the room not so comfortable. It just felt lack Lester for the price of $300 a night.
