This location worked well for our geocaching adventure. Such a beautiful area!! Staff was very friendly. Nice to have access to microwave, coffee and ice.
Paper thin walls with a running toddler and crying infant in the night. Unpleasant odors possibly coming from AC. Bar and Grill closed before we could get to it (maybe it was never open).

Beautiful wooded setting. Clean spacious room. Ultimately, the manager gave us a discount for the reasons stated below - A happy result.
No food was available on-site, and the closest restaurant is 16 miles R/T. A dining provision for guests needs to be offered. In the summer, how difficult would it be to have a grill set up outside with a chef flipping burgers and sausages? A tub of beer & soda on ice. Fun, effective, and scalable!
Also, loud construction noise was an issue in the morning.

The breakfast was substandard. Powdered eggs were tasteless, hashbrowns were undercooked, and nothing was hot. Even the coffee was poor.
The rooms were very small, and the mattresses were uncomfortable and cheap. The quality of the room just did not meet the price.
