The Wesley is undergoing a major renovation. Our room was finished, and was excellent. The new owner is making a concerted effort to upgrade the property. Once finished, it looks like it will be a 5-star facility.
Due to the construction, check-in was confusing, and the amenities were not available.

This is a new hotel and as such construction was going on. This was not an issue as it was clearly stated when booking. The hotel is officially supposed to open end September. It’s a completely electronic check in. They send you the door code for your room and any other info a couple of hours before check in. Note that check in is from 4 PM and your code will start working exactly at 4 PM.
The room was brand new with a nice big TV that has Roku on it. You can thus log in with your accounts. The apps are all fixed and you can’t add new apps to the TV. The internet is super fast and excellent. I think each room has its own Unifi access point. Beds are great and bathroom is very clean with a nice big shower head.
The location is superb as it is in the middle of town with all the best restaurants within walking distance. My favorite place - The Birdhouse (best fried chicken ever) and the Taco Truck ($10 for 4 excellent tacos) were all within 3 blocks.
The young owner and manager were on site and very pleasant. It’s nice to see and support young entrepreneurs in their journey to success.
All in all highly recommended.
The only issue I had was that the WiFi system kept renewing its lease every 4 hours, and booted me off. Then I had to disable security on my laptop, to let the Unifi captive portal log me in. If you only use personal devices, you will be okay as you’ll just need to tap on comment when the option appears.

Great location and value for money, really easy check in. Comfy beds.
Tiny finishing details, a light i could turn off from bed and some form of privacy curtain.

The bed is quite comfortable.
The place was a little run down, the cistern was running all night, and the shower runs out of hot (actually warm) water very quickly. I also like a deadbolt or security latch on my hotel room doors.
