Everything was absolutely incredible and exceeded our expectations. The hospitality was great and the hosts do a wonderful job of cultivating a true community feel. The breakfast provided was thoughtful and curated. The grounds were gorgeous, quiet, secluded and romantic. We could spend days there just at the grounds!

Every decision about design considered comfort and logic. The atmosphere was very inviting and supportive of a quiet contented stay. Also, our host was very knowledgeable of the area and enthusiastically recommended day trips or off the beaten path places to visit. We came up with the tagline: The Bryce is Right. And the breakfasts: they were beautifully plated and exceptional in flavour combinations. The Mine Farm really cares about what they are putting out to their clients.
As I sleep with earplugs regardless of where I am and my husband can sleep through anything, the traffic did not really bother us. But, I could imagine the road sounds of Route 5 to be off-putting for some. We would have liked to have a place to walk to for dinner, but that's not really a huge problem as Guerneville is so close and parking is not a problem.

Very spacious, spotless, comfortable room.
Quality breakfast (which is unusual for the area).
My personal highlight was hanging out in the cozy lobby, checking out the many books, photographs, curiosities.
We do not smoke but would have appreciated a glass of wine instead.
