Very clean and comfortable, in and outside the room. Great location.

The breakfast was excellent. Like before the pandemic. I was able to eat well with a low carb diet. Plenty of variety for every appetite. Sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs worked well for me. For others there was French Toast, waffles and sausage gravy.

The refrigerator could have been in a better location in the room: The door opened the wrong way, making it more difficult to access the inside.

Would stay here anytime. A great value for the price.

Everything was fine though the staff did not always seems knowledgeable about some details (like the EV chargers). The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast service included many options and the hotel locations was close enough to theater that we were able to walk.

Fresh pastries instead of packaged.

A notable experience at Ashland's hidden gem.

The building is lovely, the interior warm and inviting. The rooms are quite new and fresh. Everything is very clean and welcoming. All in all, a very good experience. I didn't want to leave, I could have stayed a few days and enjoyed all it offered.

The breakfast was surprisingly bad. Pre-packaged in plastic breads, muffins, etc. had a chemical smell and taste. Sugary cereals and very little choice. Also, I am in such disagreement with the little plastic packets of sugar and coffee whitener in the rooms. There are so NOT environmentally friendly, and there is never enough whitener or sugar, so all the plastic (again) packets get opened just for a whitener and then the entire packet is then discarded. SOmeone needs to come up with a better method!

Room was nice and good for pets, good location.

excellent for stay with pets - ground floor, easy access to outside

person checking us in was abrupt and didn’t look at our reservation, we had indicated we had two dogs and he seemed miffed that he had to change our room, quoted a higher pet fee than was shown on the website. not a good look for what otherwise a very nice stay.

Disappointing

The shower in my room was not working correctly. The knob to change the water temperature was stuck in the middle and couldn't be turned into hot water. I called to get maintenance to fix it but they never showed up.

We like the Suites a lot and the eating area is lovely but the breakfast is not of the same caliber.

the plain tasteless breakfast choices. Would like to see eggs and sausage. whole grain breads, chopped fresh fruit, real butter, jam not jelly.

Dint stay in the cascade building it is in dire need for renovations and a good hard cleaning.

A convenient location for a overnight stop on my drive from Seattle to Tucson.

The room was filthy, carpet, walls, bathroom door was gross. Trash was dumped next to my car by a transient.

Very good

Front desk staff were very friendly. Free parking, parking garage. Easy walking to downtown. We'll lit, safe Beds comfortable, but pillow cases felt rough, pilly. Had to grab some towels from the cart as there were not enough for 3 people. However, didn't expect housekeeping to make the beds etc., so I'm sure additional towels would have been supplied.

The halls did have a strong air freshener scent.

Comfortable rooms and a great location with a Tesla charging station

We loved that the property has a Tesla charger which makes it very convenient for us. Bed and room was clean and comfortable.

Aggravation in Ashland

It had a good location.

The TV was not operating properly. There wasn’t a signal so we couldn’t watch MLB playoff games. The telephone message light was malfunctioning waking us up early. There wasn’t a message for us. The bathroom floor had dirt in the corners. We were never contacted after complaining about the tv. They didn’t get back to us at all. The continental breakfast was pretty unhealthy. all processed foods. The decor needs updating. On the most busy weekend of the year you would think there would a manager or maintenance man available especially considering the price of this hotel. No parking spaces were available so they told us to park on the street!

High price - no maid service

A nice size room. Fun decor. Very easy walking distance to town and theatres

No maid service - pretending covid keeps the maids out. No reduction in price for no maid service. No employees even wear masks The entrance level is strongly perfumed - too much. Pillows are hard as a rock. They gave me softer pillows when I asked. Breakfast is continental and not great. I come to Ashland every year for the plays. This hotel doesn't compete well with other hotels I have stayed in over the years.

room deoderizer in lobby is way too strong 3 reasons for staying at Plaza Inn for 20+ years have gone away - use of the dining room for our group's game night...we were denied access - decent breakfast - evening cookies and sandwich

We appreciated the large room, kitchenette, and the early check-in. The location is wonderful; right on the creek and easy walking distance to restaurants, retail, and theaters.

Location, location, location!!! Registration area was lovely and well-managed. Appreciated the coffee choices and the fridge and micro!

The bathroom could have been cleaner. Whoever cleans toilets needs to be more aware of cleaning the OUTSIDE of the toilet. A smooth surface outside the bowl is really important. The faucet took a lot of effort to shut off. The pillows were like bricks. No options.
