Clean, good breakfast

The breakfast was good, but not great. The hot water for the packaged oatmeal was out towards the lobby, not in the breakfast area. The sausage was good on Saturday morning, but there wasn't any on Sunday morning--just biscuits and gravy. The scrambled eggs on Saturday morning and cheese omelet on Sunday morning were fair. The line to the waffle-making machine was too long to stand in, on both days. The only fruit I remember seeing on both days was apples. So, breakfast was okay, but I wouldn't call it "very good."
The location was super, and very quiet, and so were the rooms. Very comfortable and quiet, with a nice view of the cornfields out back. It's a non-smoking hotel, which is great!
The front desk receptionist only coded our room keys for one night, rather than the two we had check in for. We found this out after returning from the Renaissance Faire the following night. I had to go back to the front desk and ask her to re-code them for me. No smile or apology from her about it, so she may have been having a bad day. :-)
This was Labor Day weekend, but the prices were pretty high--close to $235/night on Booking.com after taxes.
They do allow dogs, even on the 3rd floor, so I'm glad I requested a dog-free room (also on the 3rd floor).
There is no maid service, except by request. My wife used both her towels the first night, and then one of mine the second night, so I had to re-use mine the second night. But, that's okay.

Staff and location convenance.
Breaker and coffee was lacking quality. I'm a coffee stob and also need fresh fruit and breads and pastries.
