Old, run down place to stay with minimal amenities

Only good thing was the location, on the water

The owners were rude, maybe it’s because we were poc but they were not welcoming at all. Rude even. Would be nice to get some history on “the plantation motel” …maybe honoring all the lives that were lost hundreds of years ago or something I don’t know….

The room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, and stove.

The room was clean. However, they have a serious septic issue going on right outside the room.. There are a lot of spiders in the room in plain view, which I found odd. The parking is a matter of luck. The weekend rates for this place are utterly ridiculous. I realize Cedar Point isn't far, but price gouging should be a crime.

The gentleman working the front desk was friendly and help us with our AC issue

Their cottages were very clean and comfortable

The AC unit in the cottage did not work well. It was on for two hours and couldn't cool the cottage down past 75 degrees

The staff and the location was good and it was right next to the lake u can walk to it…

I did not like the room at all it was disgusting like I don’t even think they cleaned at all w the bed bugs the sworm full of aunts under the air conditioner the fridge was dirty the dishes were dirty but we had to leave anyway due to an emergency…

Our stay wasn’t horrible, Alcohol was involved we had a good time with a big group of friends

I like that it was right on Lake Erie with access to a fire pit and that there was a Bar an grill across the street.

The room I stayed in needs some updates . The sink faucet was broken. Every time we sat down on the bed the wheels on the frame would brake off.

pleasant ,quiet , nice location would for sure stay here again

nice quiet location with in walking distance of the lake. just your old time road side motel. still had a key to unlock the door no hassle check in or check out staff always had a smile and helpful

bathroom small but as said it's an old motel. had a musty smell most likely because of the shaded area and didn't get much sun. not a deal breaker but should maybe try to eliminate this issue

Great property Close enough to Summit Motorsports and Cedar Point to be convenient but had enough away to be peaceful Owner was friendly and the variety of units available was unique - traditional motel style rooms, small bungalows, larger cabins and even campers Great little mom and pop

Comfortable and affordable

Cute little motel with a local bar right across the street. It's not quite in the middle of nowhere, but that was a bonus for us. Definitely coming back next year!

The bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable ☺️

The shower was a little short and the toilet quite small, but there really isn’t a real solution for that in a little cabin.

We always leave ready to come back again.

I love how cozy it is (it is literally a tiny house), and how close it is to Sandusky. We have gone every year for the past three years, and always make a point to stay there.

The mattress was a little hard last year for us (though this may not be an issue for other people), so we brought an eggshell mattress to lay on top of it and had no issues whatsoever!
