Delta King Hotel

We arrived early and staff was very accommodating. We appreciated that. The room was very clean, comfortable and of the era. The bar was very nice and the drinks and food were delicious. Watched sunset from the bar deck. It made for a very enjoyable evening.

It’s so cool being on a steam paddle boat as a hotel. The charm is the best part, i like being on the water and enjoying the old time feel the boat has.

Rooms are a bit small but that is to be expected in this type of venue. I stubbed my toe quite a bit on the way into the bathroom and the shower was a bit leaky.

Location and the hotel is quirky because of the history of being a former paddle steamer,

Perhaps I should have raised that the rooms would be small.

The location was great. It's located right down town.. Most stores close early on the weekdays. Some are not open at all. The boat was neat . It was right of the river.

The bed was creaky, and the sheets were rough and scratchy. Some seals across the river were camped out there, and they were loud at times. Our room was 50 feet from the front desk, and the walls were paper thin. I could when a new guess was checking in. There were these electronic doors right on the other side of the wall next to my room . They were so loud you could hear them open and close, every time a guest went out on the deck.
