I love the ocean view right outside the door, I like that we had a stove and fridge and the room was very roomy.

That it was very clean, and the views were spectacular! Also, I like that it was in a quiet street
Walls were a little thin. But they supplied ear plugs so it was fine.

The wood panel ceiling was a cute touch. The front desk folks were very friendly. And they had a solid DVD collections.
The sound and light insulation were really poor. With all the shades drawn in the middle of the night, I could practically read a book (see picture). Earplugs did not help with the creaking of upstairs neighbors walking. When we asked, moving to another room would have cost us $300 total for a night.
The tub didn’t drain well and was kind of beat up.
Ultimately, paying ~$200 for a weekday stay in a non-ocean facing room is way too much. You are close to the water at a smaller, rocky beach. You’ll have to ride to Seaside or Cannon Beach if you want a place to walk around near eateries and shops.
