Fantastic Posada in Catley Valley

Posada is a beautiful colonial home where Mariana and Rob live. Our room was very tidy, clean and brightly fornitured. They were very nice and let us use their big kitchen, shared with us a fantastic spanish dinner salad. We had exquisite breakfasts and could enjoy the swimming pool and hydromassage. Our kid could play with their grandchild’s toys. We are very greatful to have passed some time here having the chance to meet Mariana and Rob. Fantastic people ! Cathey Valley is very singular and the road from Posada and Mariposa is amazing. The same for the incredibile stargazing from the posada.

A perfect place with wonderful host.

A perfect home with all you need and more. Very lovely hosts Rob and Mary. And wonderful fresh made breakfast even very early in the morning, so good to start to Yosemite.

A home away from home

The hosts were very hospitable and welcoming. The location of the property was ideal for a quiet and peaceful holiday. The bedding was comfy With breakfast added it was marvellous

I was there just for a night unfortunately but it was a good place to escape to sleep

The breakfast was all around good with a variety of options. It was a quiet night throughout. The dog was friendly.

I’m a big dude so toilet wasn’t accomplishing the mission very well. This is a personal issue but the bed was soft.

A guesthouse of paradise close to yosemite

Rob and Mary Ann are very lovely hosts. We werevery happy to be able to enjoy a hot tube alone with a so beautiful landscape! We were in a real paradise place. We were very close to yosemite and able to do all trails we wanted there

Amazing stay with lovely people

Lovely people, amazing location, great breakfast, clean spacious room, lots of cats. This was like staying with long-time friends, and will be a high point in our memories of our trip. (Also, beautiful humming birds).

If we have the chance, we’d definitely would love to stay here again!

Definitely breakfast - all aspects of it. Rob and Mary Ann prepare a fresh, healthy, and delicious breakfast for their guests. We were glad that they joined us at the table for coffee and chats as we learned many interesting things from these lovely hosts. Also, the bedding was very comfortable.

Fantastic place!

It is like visiting long lost relatives, you feel right at home sitting at there kitchen table. Thank you Robbert and Marianne for having us; you made us feel very welcome. Great quiet getaway after exploring Yosemite. Comfortable beds, amazing breakfast and a refreshing pool.

It is quite a drive from Yosemite (1,5 hours) but totally worth it.

The place was beautiful and our hosts were great! We had great breakfasts both days, accommodating for vegetarian diets, and as we were visiting Yosemite, we got great advice on getting the most out of our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a great pleasure staying here. One of the best locations during our vacation in California. Lovely family, great breakfast and all in all a perfect time.

Fantastic hosts, beautiful B&B.

The owners were lovely. We had some trouble with road closures and ended up checking-in much later than planned. The owners gave us advice over the phone on how best to get to them and check-in instructions in case they were asleep when we arrived. We arrived very late and were surprised to see that one of the owners had waited up for us and helped us check in. The room was lovely - very large and comfortable. We had a very good night's sleep. The breakfast was great and we had a good chat with the owners whilst eating. They even phoned the Yosemite visitor center to check the air quality for us before we left (the road closure was due to fire). Lovely surroundings, beautiful property, fantastic hosts.
