We golf at Northwoods and can just walk across the parking lot. We love it!

The price was a bit high for the room.. I would have expected a more modern room for the price we paid.

Great location, beautiful scenery, near a good cafe and food
The bed mattress was very low quality and my wife and I woke up with pain in our neck, back and hips. The staff cleaned using very strong smelling cleaners and either fabric fresheners or air fresheners which were very irritating to our respiratory systems. The interior looked only cosmetically updated with low quality work and was worse than a budget motel but they charged what 4 star hotels charge. The interior also smelled stale or mildewy due to possible previous water damage or moisture. We'll be staying at an AirBnB or VRBO next time we return to this area.
